  • What are the various channels through which one can acquire artworks from DAG?

    • You can acquire an artwork from the physical locations in Mumbai or New Delhi
    • By pressing on the 'Request a Quote' option on our website. This will automatically send your request to one of our specialists who will revert to you within 48 hours.

  • Can artworks purchased at DAG be delivered locally or shipped overseas?

    Artworks purchased in Delhi and Mumbai are delivered to the customer as a complimentary gesture. Artworks purchased within India are delivered using a courier service and the cost of which is based on actuals and borne by the customer, and takes 2-3 working days. Artworks purchased overseas are packaged and shipped by DAG and are also insured by us until they are received by the customer. The freight and crate charges are borne by the customer and are based on actuals. The delivery of artworks overseas takes up to 7 working days for overseas shipments.
  • What if my artwork does not arrive in the given time frame?

    We provide a tracking number for each shipment overseas as well as within the country. You can choose to track your shipment directly on the website of the courier company used, or alternatively have someone from the Art Advisory give you a status on the exact location of the artwork.
  • Does the website include all the works available in DAG's inventory?

    The website is updated every fortnight - we strive to keep the information on our website up to date, however if you have any specific queries in regard to an artwork please send in your query to:delhi@delhiartgallery.com
  • How can I find out more information about a work displayed on the website?

    Once you click on the artwork of interest to you, it will have a 'Code Number' provided below the image with other details like dimensions and mediums. You may provide us this code number via email or telephonically and we will provide the relevant information, alternatively you can move the cursor to the ‘Request a Quote’ option, and it will automatically register your query with the code number of the stipulated artwork.
  • How can I find out if you have a work by a particular artist in the collection?

    To view a list of all the artists that make up our inventory: click on the 'Artists' tab on the website which will lead you to view all the available artworks by the stipulated artist of your choice. If you require further information please submit an enquiry by emailing us on the email addresses provided specific to locations.
  • How can I keep up-to-date with events at DAG?

    Please refer to the ‘Exhibitions’ section on the website which will give details on exhibitions in both our locations as well as other events/Art Fairs we intend on taking part in.
  • Where can I find information about the history of DAG?

    Dag Modern was established in 1993 in New Delhi and has since grown to become one of India's largest repositories of 20th Century Modern art. A detailed history of the gallery is available in the "About us" section on the website.
  • How can I find out about job opportunities at the Gallery?

    Recruitment is handled by the HR Department at Dag Modern - please submit your resume's to delhi@delhiartgallery.com or mumbai@delhiartgallery.com
  • Who can use Dag Modern Research Library?

    Our Research Library is mainly for the Gallery's staff. Researchers and postgraduate students may use the Library by appointment.
  • Can DAG provide a valuation for an art work that I own?

    Yes, we do offer our expertise to value your artworks - please refer to the 'Services' section on the website.
  • If I am interested in selling my work, how do I go about it?

    You can send us an image of the art work you wish to sell with caption details, authenticity certificate and complete provenance details. This will be sent for assessment to our advisory panel and we will get back to within a fortnight from the date of submission of all details.
